A Gay and Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association (GALECA) revelou os vencedores da 18ª edição do Dorian TV Awards, cerimônia que elege as melhores produções LGBTQIA+ televisivas e de streaming do ano.
Produções como ‘Rivalidade Ardente’ e ‘Pluribus’ marcaram presença na lista de vitoriosos, enquanto Rhea Seehorn, Jean Smart, François Arnaud e Kate O’Flynn estiveram entre os talentos reconhecidos nas categorias de atuação. Hannah Einbinder, Lisa Kudrow e Jacob Tierney receberam homenagens especiais.
O vice-presidente da GALECA e presidente do Dorian TV Awards deste ano, Gerrick Kennedy, declarou: “O que mais me entusiasma nos vencedores do Dorian deste ano é a diversidade: a devoção apaixonada de ‘Rivalidade Ardente’, a complexidade sensível de ‘The Boyfried’, a coragem que marca ‘Pela Metade’ e a memória coletiva mantida viva em ‘Lilith Fair: Building a Mystery’. Pensar que, um dia, histórias queer precisavam se encaixar em uma perspectiva limitada para serem produzidas…”.
