A organização do Festival de Cannes liberou a lista completa das produções indicadas a grandiosa Palma de Ouro, bem como da mostra Um Certo Olhar e de outras sessões do mais importante festival de cinema do mundo.
Os destaques ficam por conta de Sofia Coppola e Michael Haneke, que retorna ao Festival depois de ter estreado Amor, em 2012, e que de quebra, levou o Oscar de Melhor Filme em Língua-Estrangeira no ano seguinte.
