A temporada das principais premiações do cinema começa hoje, dia 5 de Janeiro, com o Globo de Ouro. A cerimônia acontece em Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, e a exibição no Brasil é exclusiva do canal TNT, a partir das 22 horas (horário de Brasília).
Como já era de se esperar, ‘O Irlandês’ e ‘Coringa’ receberam quatro e três indicações nas categorias principais, respectivamente. Jennifer Lopez, Joaquin Phoenix e Renée Zellweger foram relembrados por suas atuações, competindo ao lado de nomes como Joe Pesci, Al Pacino e Saoirse Ronan.
‘Era Uma Vez… em Hollywood’ faturou quatro nomeações, incluindo Melhor Diretor para Quentin Tarantino e Melhor Filme: Musical ou Comédia.
Na seções televisivas, a maior surpresa ficou com as múltiplas indicações ao drama ‘The Morning Show’, com Jennifer Aniston e Reese Witherspoon sendo relembradas na categoria de Melhor Atriz em Série: Drama.
Como sempre, o Globo de Ouro deixou de condecorar alguns nomes que certamente mereciam um espaço na premiação, incluindo Zendaya por sua incrível performance no drama ‘Euphoria’, e Adam Sandler, que roubou a atenção dos críticos e do público por ‘Joias Brutas’. ‘A Vida Invisível’, filme brasileiro que se tornou o favorito ao Oscar, também não foi indicado a nenhuma categoria.
