A MTV divulgou hoje (08) a lista de indicados ao Video Music Awards (VMA) 2023.
Taylor Swift foi a artista mais relembrada da nova edição, com oito indicações – incluindo Vídeo do Ano por “Anti-Hero” e Artista do Ano. SZA vem em segundo lugar com seis nomeações, seguida de perto por Doja Cat, Kim Petras, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo e Sam Smith (todos com cinco cada).
A cantora brasileira Anitta apareceu novamente na lista de indicados na categoria de Melhor Música Latina, com a música “Funk Rave”. Ela havia previamente sido nomeada na mesma categoria pelo hit “Envolver”, que alcançou o primeiro lugar do Spotify Global.
Pela primeira vez desde que a categoria foi anunciada em 2017, apenas artistas femininas competem pelo prêmio de Artista do Ano.
Os vencedores serão anunciados no dia 12 de setembro.
