Os indicados à 73ª edição do Emmy Awards foram revelados hoje, 13 de julho, e a HBO e a HBO Max fizeram bonito nessa premiação com nada menos que 130 indicações (seguidas de perto pela Netflix, com 129, e pelo Disney+, com 71).
Os dramas ‘The Crown’ e ‘O Mandaloriano’ empataram como as séries mais relembradas da premiação, conquistando 24 nomeações. ‘WandaVision’ também cumpriu o que prometeu ao aparecer em 23 categorias.
Diversas produções do cenário mainstream também apareceram na lista de indicados, incluindo ‘Bridgerton’, ‘Lovecraft Country’ e ‘The Boys’. Mj Rodriguez fez história ao se tornar a primeira atriz trans a ser indicada na categoria Melhor Atriz – Drama, por seu trabalho como Blanca Rodriguez em ‘Pose’ (que também concorre em Melhor Série Dramática). Elizabeth Olsen concorre pela estatueta de Melhor Atriz em Série Limitada por ‘WandaVision’, disputando com a favorita Anya Taylor-Joy (‘O Gambito da Rainha’).
Na seção de comédia, notou-se que 75% dos indicados foram produções estreantes, incluindo ‘Cobra Kai’, ‘Emily em Paris’, ‘Hacks’, ‘Ted Lasso’, ‘Pen15’ e ‘The Flight Attendant’.
Lembrando que vencedores serão anunciados no dia 19 de setembro, com apresentação de Cedric the Entertainer.
