Depois do Oscar, chegou a hora de descobrir quem foram os vencedores do 33º GLAAD Media Awards, que foi exibido no último sábado (02) em Los Angeles.
Dentre os ganhadores, tivemos ‘Eternos’, ‘Hacks’, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, de ‘Pose’, Kacey Musgraves e muitos outros.
“Mídia pode criar uma mudança positiva – e os indicados deste ano representam poderosos projetos, histórias e criadores que mudaram a cultura positivamente e trouxeram ao público histórias LGBTQIA+ novas e impactantes”, declarou a presidente da GLAAD, Sarah Kate Ellis. “Há mais indicados este ano do que nunca [246 entre 30 categorias], destacando um aumento no cenário da visibilidade LGBTIQA+ e servindo como lembrete do papel crítico que os filmes, a televisão, a música, o jornalismo e outras forma de mídia podem ter na aceitação crescente dos LGBTQIA+ em face a constantes ataques contra nossa comunidade”.
