Dwayne Johnson divulga mais detalhes sobre ‘Jumanji 2’

Após ter confirmado via Instagram que ‘Jumanji‘ não será um remake do longa estrelado por Robin Williams, em 1995, mas sim uma sequência, The Rock/Dwayne Johnson comentou em seu perfil na rede social, em uma nova publicação, alguns outros detalhes do projeto.

As gravações começam em setembro e serão sediadas no Havaí. E a trama em si será ambientada cerca de 20 anos após a produção original.

Além de Johnson, o elenco conta com Jack Black (‘Escola de Rock’), Nick Jonas (Scream Queens) e Kevin Hart (‘Um Espião e Meio’).

It will be a CONTINUATION of the awesome JUMANJI adventure 20 years later. As a producer on this movie and someone who loves the original, you have my word we’ll honor the legend of “Alan Parrish” and properly introduce a whole new generation to the fun and crazy JUMANJI universe that so many of us loved and grew up on. Dwayne Johnson diz que remake de ‘Jumanji’ vai honrar Robin Williams 

Jake Kasdan, das comédias ‘Sex Tape – Perdido na Nuvem‘ e ‘Professora Sem Classe‘, foi o escolhido pela Sony Pictures para comandar a produção. Joe Johnston (‘Capitão América: O Primeiro Vingador’) dirigiu o filme original, que foi lançado nos EUA em Dezembro de 1995.

O remake estreia dia 28 de Julho de 2017.No filme, o jovem Alan Parrish descobre um misterioso tabuleiro de jogo que magicamente o transporta para as desconhecidas selvas de Jumanji por 26 anos, até que duas inocentes crianças, Judy e Peter o libertam do poderoso feitiço do jogo. Agora um adulto, Alan se reúne com sua amiga de infância, Sarah, e com Judy e Peter tenta superar as poderosas forças do jogo nesta criativa aventura que combina efeitos especiais de tirar o fôlego com comédia, magia e arrepios!

O filme é uma adaptação do livro de Chris Van Allsburg. Zack Helm (‘Mais Estranho que a Ficção’) roteiriza a nova versão.

‘Jumanji‘ foi estrelado por Robin Williams, Bonnie Hunt, Kirsten Dunst, Bradley Pierce, Jonathan Hyde e Adam Hann-Byrd. Foram gastos em sua produção US$ 65 milhões, com um retorno de US$ 262 milhões em todo o mundo.
